When the sky darkens, the stars begin to shine. On this very evening of August 12, 2026, it is not only the paths of the sun and moon that cross over Mallorca to form a eclipse of the century, but also the trajectories of some of the most profound visionaries in art history.

The Streicher Gallery invites you to an extraordinary alignment: "COLLECTIVES IV – CONSTALLATIONS."

The title is both a concept and a metaphor.It’s a deliberate fusion of CONSTELLATIONS and INSTALLATIONS. Contrasts in space: the works stand like fixed stars in the art firmament. Each shines brightly on its own, yet in their collective arrangement, they form a completely new, fascinating overall picture – just like stars in a constellation.

Within this curatorial orbit, worlds collide that could hardly be more different, yet exert a magical gravitational pull on one another. The surreal dreamscapes of Salvador Dalí meet the dark, biomechanical aesthetics of H.R. Giger. The visionary, phantastic realism of Ernst Fuchs rubs shoulders with the sculptural monochromes of Agostino Bonalumi and the masterful contemporary reflections of Rolf Ohst, Joan Costa, Enrique Fuentes, and Judith Sturm.

It is an interplay of light and shadow, of form and infinity. Each artistic position commands its own unshakeable gravity. Yet within the collective of these rooms, a new energy emerges – an artistic universe opening its doors just in time for the hour of the total solar eclipse.
